Margaret Warren is a sculptor and business owner living in Shirley Arkansas. She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from Missouri State University and is currently in graduate school at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, studying sculpture. She serves as the Secretary on the board of the Arkansas Sculptors Guild. She is also a member of the Conway League of Artists and the North Central Arkansas Foundation for the Arts and Education. Her work centers around figures of animals and a contrast in form and angle. The sculpture pictured, “Stentorian Whisper”, is just one of her limited edition bronze creations. Stentorian means loud or ear shattering. The word combined with the word whisper creates an oxymoron that represents the lion as a quite, stealthy hunter yet capable of loud, piercing roars. Margaret’s work has been represented in juried art shows and galleries all over the state.
