Raised in the Midwest with reins in her hands, Linda Hall began a love affair with horses that manifested itself into a lifetime of horses and horse show competitions. Talent for exhibiting the versatility of the horse led her to world and national championships in such breeds as the Palomino, the Peruvian Paso and the American Quarter Horse. Primarily a self-taught artist, she attributes much of her education to personal experiences. Attention to detail and the desire to record today’s events as tomorrow’s history remains first and foremost. Linda and her husband Rod live in the Ozark Mountain foothills of north central Arkansas where they raise cattle, show quarter horses and own/operate Sleep Star-Lite and Ozark Furniture stores in Batesville. Her artwork is exhibited in various locations around the country as well as private collections. Professional organizations include the National Sculpture Society, Arkansas Sculpture Guild, Red River Sculpture Society and Oklahoma Sculpture Society.
